What is dad doing, Mom?

Spring? Or Global Warming?

Just read the most frightening article about Global Warming. It pointed out that 25 years ago these was signficant scientific debate about global warming - that is, whether or not it was happening as a result of CO2 emissions. Now there is NO debate about the fact of global warming, only varying predictions about when certain things will happen, or whether something external (shifts in the orbit, thermocline adjustments) will intervene before the oceans rise, the permafrost in Alaska melts, etc. The only folks out there that are still questioning the fact of it is - you guessed it - your friendly Bush Administration. Wow. Not that anyone knows what we should do, but upholding the Kyoto Protocol on emissions might have been a step in the right direction.

But I digress. It has been nice lately, although primarily on the weekdays when I am working instead of the weekends. Rained all of this one although it did allow for us to get some house stuff done. It was REALLY nice last weekend, prompting Jason to take a little ride around the yard on his bike in nothing but his birthday suit and boots (very cute). Here he is taking a stroll down to the barn in a lovely purple towel in preparation for the ride.

Ships in the night

This season is the busiest time for Jason at work, and of course it's been pretty crazy for me lately too. Unfortunately, lately, I have been out of town on the days that he has off, and he's pretty booked up over the weekend. We did manage to get out on a hike yesterday even thought it was pouring rain, although I cut back to the house after a little while and let Jay wander around for a while with the dogs. I wish now that I had stayed out there with him.

Jason, I LOVE YOU!
