February? When did it get to be February?

Sheesh. I keep thinking that it should be a simple matter to blog about you at least once a month and then time goes flying by and I somehow don't manage it.

November was busy with a trip to Spain for mommy and daddy, during which Mimi and Pop Pop came up to stay with you. Everyone had a lovely time, and they even declined to send you to school the second week because they wanted to spend more time playing with you! Mom and Dad stayed for thanksgiving and we had Omi and Nick and Granny as well - the whole family!

We visited Mimi and Pop Pop again the week before Christmas, when you came down with me on a business trip and they babysat while I worked. I didn't get a ton of sleep since you figured out how to escape from the laundry room EARLY in the morning, but it was nice to have some holiday time with them too. Got to see Josh and Laura and you LOVED their kids.

Finally, early in January we got some bad news about Mimi - a brain tumor, and so we made another trip to North Carolina. You came down with Gigi for the end of the week and weekend with Mama, and we cheered up Mimi and Pop Pop with your antics. You're at a really delightful stage right now, really sweet and although you do get ideas in your head and are harder to distract, you're also a lot of fun to talk to and play with.

Anyway, sweet thing, here's the picture that we sent out for our New Year's cards. . .adorable.
