Hello Spring!

Love love love spring. The leaves are finally coming out, the lilacs are about to bloom outside my office window, and it's been lovely and sunny for a couple of weeks, it seems. And of course, you, my Boo, are as cute as a button!

Because Kat gave us a ton of beautiful spring dresses, we've been dressing you up in pretty little dresses all the time lately, and you seem to really love it (although it doesn't keep you from jumping into puddles or playing in the dirt). You've turned into such a cool kid to hang out with - you're sweet, you've mostly stopped trying to hit me or Dad when you get mad (GOOD JOB), and you love to help Dad work on his motorcycles. I miss you desperately now when I travel, too.

Your vocabulary is amazing, and you continue to surprise and delight me by saying or understanding things that I don't expect! And you want to do everything yourself, with no help from me. The other day at pre-school you had an absolute fit because you couldn't buckle yourself into the car seat and after 5 minutes I went ahead and did it for you. You cried all the way home!

I love you more and more each day, little one. Nothing feels quite as good as when you tell me you love me, or that you missed me, and give me a great big hug and kiss. XOXOXO
