Summer Vacation!

It's just about time to start blogging again! That's right, our next trip is nearly upon us. About two months ago, we started planning a trip up north to Canada - Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, to be exact. We decided to take a bike trip together, and the initial plan was that Jay would take the PD (of course) and I would take Fraulein. However, about 6 weeks ago, I got a refund check from the IRS that indicated to me a couple of things: first, that I pay WAY too much in taxes and need to change my witholding allowances; and second, that I had a nice chunk of money on my hands unexpectedly. Jay, being the bike pimp that he is, immediately suggested that I use that money to buy a newer bike.

It didn't take him long to locate a suitable candidate. . .and so about 2 weeks ago I went up to Max BMW in Troy, and literally signed over my check in exchange for the bike you see here. LOVE it. Has brakes and accelerates and everything (believe me, this is a marked improvement over the floating brake of death the /6 is equipped with).
